Under december månad inträffar flest bränder i svenska hem. Ägna en extra tanke åt brandsäkerhet när du firar advent med levande ljus. Här kommer några tips för att öka säkerheten för dig själv, din familj och dina grannar.

• Släck ljusen varje gång du lämnar rummet.
• Dekorera inte ljusstaken med mossa, bomull eller annat material som kan ta eld.
• Placera inte ljus på ställen där barn eller djur kan komma åt dem.
• Släck den elektriska adventsljusstaken och julgransbelysningen med strömbrytare eller genom att dra ur kontakten.
• Ha släckutrustning redo om något skulle hända.
• Kontrollera att brandvarnaren fungerar och byt batteri i brandvarnaren regelbundet. Få en gratis sms-påminnelse när det är dags att testa brandvarnaren från skyddadigmotbrand.se.

Most fires that occur in Swedish homes happen during December. For that reason, we ask you to take an extra minute to think about fire safety when celebrating Advent with candles. Here are some tips to help keep yourself, your family, and your neighbors safe.

• Blow out all of the candles, each and every time you leave the room.
• Do not decorate candlesticks with moss, cotton or other materials that can catch fire.
• Do not place candles in places where children or animals can reach them.
• Turn off electric Advent candlesticks and Christmas tree lights with a light switch, or by unplugging them.
• Have fire extinguishing equipment available in your dwelling.
• Check that your smoke alarms work and change the batteries in your smoke alarms regularly. Get a free SMS reminder when it's time to test your smoke alarm from skyddadigmotbrand.se.

Med anledning av att boende och verksamma har uttryckt oro över situationen i Hagalund vill Platssamverkan Hagalund informera om de trygghetsskapande insatser som genomförs i området. Polisen meddelar att Hagalund är prioriterat inom lokalpolisområde Solna.

Den polisiära närvaron i Hagalund är hög, och kommer fortsatt att vara hög. Polisen har också satt upp kameror i trygghetsskapande syfte. Närvaron kommer också att öka genom boväktare hos fastigheterna.

Den 15 november klockan 16:30 arrangerar lokalpolisen och Solna stad en medborgardialog i Hagalund Centrum som riktar sig till boende i området. Boka gärna in detta möte då synpunkter från boende är mycket viktiga i vårt gemensamma brottsförebyggande och trygghetsskapande arbete.

In response to concerns expressed by residents and businesses about the situation in Hagalund, Platssamverkan Hagalund would like to provide information about the security measures being implemented in the area. The police announce that Hagalund is a priority within the Solna local police area.

The police presence in Hagalund is high, and will continue to be high. The police have also set up cameras for security purposes. The presence will also be increased through the use of security guards at the properties.

On 15 November at 16:30, the local police and the City of Solna are organising a citizens' dialogue in Hagalund Centrum aimed at residents in the area. Please book this meeting as the views of residents are very important in our joint crime prevention and security work.

Styrelsen har beslutat att inte längre erbjuda festlokalen för uthyrning. Detta bland annat på grund av att lokalen inte lämpar sig för ändamålet då den är för liten, samt att styrelsen behöver använda lokalen för styrelsearbete. Vi undersöker möjligheten att erbjuda en större och bättre lämpad festlokal i framtiden.

The board has decided to no longer offer the party venue for rent. This is due, among other things, to the fact that the premises are not suitable for the purpose as they are too small, and that the board needs to use it for board work. We are investigating the possibility of offering a larger and better suited venue in the future.

Nu byter vi alla källardörrar i trä mot moderna brandsäkra dörrar. Arbetet startar den 24 oktober (vecka 43) och pågår vardagar mellan c:a 08:30-15:00.

Vad Innebär det för dig?

Cirka 35 av alla dörrar som ska bytas hör till enskilda boendes förråd.

Arbetet med att byta ut dessa dörrar sker under första veckan, 24 – 28 oktober.

Har du en förrådsdörr i trä behöver föreningen därför få tillgång till din förrådsnyckel under den perioden.

Föreningen kommer att kontakta alla berörda boende för att samla in nycklar inför starten.

Redan nu kan du se om din förrådsdörr berörs. Titta efter en blå prick högst uppe i dörrens högra hörn.

Tycker du att du har för få nycklar till ditt förråd?

Är du osäker på vart alla nycklar har tagit vägen?

Passa då på att beställa en ny låscylinder. Lämna in din gamla nyckel och få tillbaka fem nya nycklar till en ny låscylinder.

För den nya låscylindern debiteras du en engångskostnad som läggs på din månadsavi. Uppskattad kostnad är ca 500 kronor.

REPLACEMENT OF STORAGE DOORS

We are now replacing all wooden doors in the basements with modern fireproof doors. Work will start on October 24 and take place weekdays approximately between 08.30-15.00.

What does it mean for you?

About 35 of all the doors to be replaced are to individual residents' stores. The work to replace these doors will be carried out during the first week, 24 – 28 October.

If you have one of these wooden storage doors, the board needs access to your storage key during that period.

We will contact every affected resident to collect keys ahead of the start.

Already now you can check if your storage door is affected. Look for a blue dot in the top right corner of the door.

You can take the opportunity to order a new lock cylinder. You hand in your old key and get a new lock and five new keys back.

For the new lock cylinder, you will be charged a one-off cost that will be added to your monthly statement. Estimated cost is about SEK 500.
