Recently, older people have been exposed to fraud by fake Police officers. This can be done over the phone or by home visits. For example by someone who says they work for the Police Authority, and need access to your bank card, pin code and valuables.

Here's how you can protect yourself:

• Hang up if someone calls and you feel insecure.
• Never let an unknown person into your home.
• Never give your ID, bank card or code to anyone else.
• Call a relative or friend and ask for help.
• In the event of an ongoing crime, call 112.
